THE UNIVERSITY HAS BEEN ENRICHED WITH NEW PhD DOCTORS

On the eve of a great celebration, we are pleased to share joyful news — the scientific potential of our university continues to grow, and the ranks of young scholars have been enriched with new Doctors of Philosophy (PhD).

Thus, under the educational program 8D05301 “Physics,” the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) was awarded to Moldir Boleukhanovna Bayandinova, Kuanysh Kanatovich Samarkhanov, and Meruert Maulet, while under the program 8D05302 “Chemistry,” the degree was conferred upon Erkegzhan Baimuratkyzy Abikak.

The university currently operates two dissertation councils in the fields of 8D053 “Physical and Chemical Sciences” and 8D015 “Teacher Training in Natural Science Disciplines.”

This achievement is clear evidence of the systematic efforts of the university staff and the successful outcomes in training highly qualified scientific personnel.

It is worth noting that while only seven doctoral students in the specialty “History” studied at the university between 2010 and 2017, a total of 168 doctoral students were admitted between 2018 and 2025 across 12 educational programs. Thus, the number increased twenty-fourfold.

This is a vivid demonstration of the success of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University in the development of science and education, reflecting its large-scale and effective work in training scientific personnel.
