THE CEREMONIAL CLOSING OF SPARTAKIAD-2026 WAS HELD

The ceremonial closing of Spartakiad-2026 among faculty and staff of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took place. Numerous teams participated in this sports event, competing in various sports such as table tennis, volleyball, swimming, football, chess, togyzkumalak, and tug-of-war.

The Spartakiad was a vivid example of team spirit and athletic endurance among the university’s staff. In the overall standings, the winner was the team from the Higher College, which took first place. Second place went to the Rectorate, and third place was awarded to the Higher School of Pedagogy.

“We put in a lot of effort, and each of us tried 100%. Such events provide an opportunity to showcase our abilities in sports and remind us of the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Spartakiad-2026 demonstrated that sports unite us not only as colleagues but also as a single team,” said Alexander Zuev, Head of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Basic Military Training.

At the award ceremony, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Mukhtar Tolegen, delivered a welcoming speech. He congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the Spartakiad and on achieving high results.

“I congratulate all participants, regardless of whether they won prizes or simply took part. The most important thing is active participation and supporting the spirit of competition,” said the rector.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, winners were awarded diplomas, medals, and letters of appreciation for their active participation and outstanding results. Spartakiad-2026 was a bright sporting event that not only brought the university community together but also promoted a healthy lifestyle among faculty and staff.
