SPARTAKIAD-2026: THRILLING MATCHES IN TABLE TENNIS

The annual sports event at Amanzholov University is never complete without table tennis. This sport is part of the Olympic Games. The game was played between two players. Each team had two agile and accurate participants. The thrilling matches in the team competition consisted of three dynamic sets. According to the modern international rules established in 2001, each set continues until 11 points. These rules were also followed at Amanzholov University. The compliance with all rules and fair play was monitored by referee Alisher Tulebaev, a senior lecturer at the Department of Culture, Sports, and Basic Military Training.

“It is clear that all players are proponents of a healthy lifestyle. They are all so agile, active, and energetic. The energy around is like at the real Olympic Games. Such events are an important part of promoting a healthy lifestyle,” shared the referee.

At the end of the team competition, third place was won by participants from the Higher School of Pedagogy, second place went to the Higher School of Business and Law, and the championship was claimed by the team from the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences.

In the individual competition among men, first place was won by Yerlan Badenbaev, second place by Alisher Tulebaev, and third place by Dias Yerbolat. Among women, first place went to Akmaral Dzaksylikova, second place to Maria Kolichna, and third place to Aizhan Mukhamadieva.
