REPRESENTATIVES OF SARSEN AMANZHOLOV EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY TOOK PART IN THE REGIONAL COACHING ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Representatives of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in a coaching session on the topic “Developing universal learning activities and soft skills in students with special educational needs (SEN) in the context of inclusive education.”

The event was held at KSU “Secondary School No. 23 named after M. Shaiakhmetov” of the Education Department of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk under the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region, within the framework of the regional winter school for teachers of East Kazakhstan Region. Teachers, methodologists, and specialists interested in developing an inclusive educational environment and enhancing professional competencies in working with children with SEN participated in the coaching session.

In the theoretical part of the coaching, a report was delivered by Alima Alipova, Head of the Center for Lifelong and Inclusive Education “Dana bala” of Amanzholov University. The topic of the presentation was “Inclusive education in action: implementation of the project ‘Competence Center for psychological, pedagogical, and methodological-technological support of children with SEN’ at the Center for Lifelong and Inclusive Education ‘Dana bala’.”

During the presentation, the main areas of the Center’s activities were presented, along with practical experience in supporting students with special educational needs and modern approaches to the development of universal learning activities and soft skills in the context of inclusive education. Special attention was paid to issues of interdisciplinary cooperation among specialists, the introduction of innovative methodologies, and the creation of a comfortable educational environment for every child.

Holding such events contributes to the exchange of professional experience, improvement of the quality of inclusive education, and strengthening cooperation among educational organizations in the region.
