INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: EXPERT PARTICIPATION OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY SPECIALISTS IN THE REGIONAL SEMINAR

Representatives of Amanzholov University participated as speakers in a scientific-methodological seminar on “Inclusive Education Methodology: Developing Teachers’ Professional Skills,” organized at the Kazakhstan-American Free University (KAFU).

The Center for Lifelong and Inclusive Education “Dana bala,” established at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University on the initiative of Rector Mukhtar Tolegen, has become a flagship platform for the development of inclusive education in the region. The Center implements modern approaches aimed at comprehensive support for students with special educational needs, improves the system of methodological support for teachers, and actively disseminates effective practices among educational organizations.

During the seminar, the Head of the Center for Lifelong and Inclusive Education “Dana bala,” Alima Alipova, as well as Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Psychology and Special Education, and Methodologist of the “Dana bala” Center, Yuliya Kukina, delivered informative presentations, highlighting current issues in the field of inclusive education.

In their speeches, the speakers examined in detail the development of teachers’ professional competencies in an inclusive environment, effective methods of working with students with special educational needs, models of psychological and pedagogical support, and practical mechanisms for adapting the educational process. They also extensively discussed modern educational trends, the development of soft skills among teachers, and the formation of an inclusive culture.

This seminar served as an important dialogue platform aimed at exchanging professional experience between higher education institutions, improving the quality of inclusive education, and strengthening cooperation among regional educational organizations.
