CAREER ORIENTATION EXCURSION FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Today, Amanzholov University hosted a career orientation excursion for eighth-grade students of Secondary School No. 17 named after Mukhtar Auezov. The event was aimed at introducing students to the university’s educational opportunities, infrastructure, and learning environment.

The excursion was organized and accompanied by their teacher, Ruslan Israilov, a graduate of the “Physical Education and Sport” program at the Higher School of Pedagogy of Amanzholov University. He is currently also a deputy of the VIII convocation of the Ust-Kamenogorsk City Maslikhat from electoral district No. 14, serving as a tangible example for the students of the successful professional and social development of a university graduate.

During the visit, the students toured the university museum, where they learned about the university’s history, traditions, achievements, and notable alumni. The visit to the Dana Bala Center for Continuous Inclusive Education sparked particular interest, as specialists shared information about modern approaches to inclusive education, support for children with special educational needs, and ongoing social projects. In addition, the students explored the activities of other university departments.

Career orientation excursions help students broaden their horizons, form an understanding of their future profession, and make an informed choice about their further educational path. Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University continues to actively develop career guidance initiatives and strengthen cooperation with regional schools, opening its doors to future applicants.
