AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE SECOND DAY OF THE TRADITIONAL SPARTAKIAD: TOGYZKUMALAK

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the second day of the traditional Spartakiad was organized at a high level and continued with competitions in the national sport of togyzqumalak. These contests, aimed at promoting this intellectual game, tested participants’ logical thinking and endurance.

The tournament involved structural units and higher schools of the university, as well as the Higher College, showcasing intense and meaningful gameplay. In each match, players demonstrated a high level of skill and tactical thinking, contributing to the successful conduct of the competitions.

In the men’s category, the results were as follows:
1st place — Konysbek Zhakaev (Higher College team),
2nd place — Aydyn Bazarkanov (Rectorate team),
3rd place — Nariman Alekenov (Center for Information Technology team).

Among the women, the top results were:
1st place — Akmaral Zharkynbek (Rectorate team),
2nd place — Aizhan Kartaeva (Higher School of Humanities team),
3rd place — Balym Alibekova (Science Department team).

Winners and prize-winners were awarded by the organizers, and all participants were thanked. It was noted that the togyzqumalak competitions not only promote national values within the university but also contribute significantly to fostering a healthy lifestyle and strengthening team unity.

The traditional Spartakiad will continue in the coming days with competitions in various sports, giving a new impetus to the development of mass sports among the university staff and students.
