AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE POSSIBILITIES OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES BASED ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ORGANIZING THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS WERE DISCUSSED

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, within the framework of the winter school “Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education,” a methodological seminar was held on the topic “Opportunities of Digital Technologies in Organizing Independent Work of Students under the Guidance of a Teacher (IWG) and Independent Student Work (ISW).”

The seminar began with a warm-up for participants, and group tasks promoted increased interaction and engagement among the teachers. Such interactive methods enhanced interest in the educational process and created a favorable environment for the exchange of experiences.

The main goal of the seminar was to improve teachers’ competence in the effective use of modern digital technologies based on artificial intelligence when organizing students’ independent work under the guidance of a teacher (IWG) and independent student work (ISW).

The seminar was conducted by senior lecturers of the Department of Pedagogical Education and Management: Aynur Kozybaeva, Balym Abalakova, Aynur Aubakirova, and Nurgul Akitbayeva.

Speaker Aynur Kozybaeva highlighted the role of digital technologies in the educational process and shared her opinion:

“Digital tools not only simplify the organization of IWG and ISW but also increase students’ responsibility and motivation, contributing to the development of independent learning skills. For teachers, this is an effective way to raise the quality of education to a new level,” she emphasized.

During the seminar, the speakers demonstrated to participants the principles of various digital programs based on artificial intelligence and shared practical ways to effectively organize IWG and ISW using them. Participants received answers to their questions and exchanged professional experiences.

This methodological seminar became an important platform for enhancing teachers’ professional competence, creating a modern digital educational environment, and improving the efficiency of the learning process. This initiative is one of the concrete steps taken by Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University to enhance the quality of education and advance digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies in higher education.
