AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE DRILLS WERE CONDUCTED

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, activities were carried out to assess the readiness of faculty members, staff, and students to act in the event of destructive earthquakes.

As part of training on emergency response rules and improving rapid response skills, students were shown thematic educational videos. In addition, informational leaflets containing step-by-step action algorithms for earthquakes were distributed in academic buildings and student dormitories.

Unscheduled training drills and safety briefings were also organized in student dormitories, aimed at practicing practical skills for safe behavior under seismic threat conditions.

Following the completion of the activities, a general debriefing was held, during which the correctness and coordination of actions taken by staff and students were reviewed, as well as compliance with safety measures in emergency situations.
