AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY CEREMONIALLY WELCOMED ITS STUDENTS — WINNERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL ARMWRESTLING TOURNAMENT

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University proudly and ceremonially welcomed its students — winners of the international tournament World Armwrestling & Para Armwrestling World Cup Tashkent 2026, who represented both the university and the country on the global sports stage.

It is worth recalling that this prestigious international tournament was held in the city of Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan) with the support of international armwrestling and para-armwrestling federations and brought together the strongest athletes from various countries around the world. As a result of the competition, third-year students of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sport” — Zhalgas Torekhanov, Yelaman Bazylbek, and Temirlan Kasezov — achieved confident victories in their respective weight categories and won first place.

University faculty warmly congratulated the athletes, expressing sincere gratitude for their outstanding results and for their contribution to strengthening the university’s sporting image. Their victory became not only a personal achievement but also a significant event for the entire university community.

During the bouts, the athletes demonstrated a high level of physical and technical preparation, tactical competence, strong willpower, and sportsmanship, confirming the high standard of training of students at Amanzholov University.
