AN OFFICIAL MEETING WITH A DELEGATION FROM UNIVERSITI PENDIDIKAN SULTAN IDRIS OF MALAYSIA TOOK PLACE AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Today, an official meeting with a delegation from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (Malaysia) was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, aimed at developing and strengthening international cooperation.

The meeting was attended by vice-rectors and deans of the university’s higher schools. The partner university was represented by Associate Professor, Doctor of the Department of Mathematics Shazlin Melleana binti Shaharudin, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), representative of the Department of Geography and Environment, Sumaiya Aimi binti Mohd Najib.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in 2026, including the development of academic mobility for students and faculty members, the implementation of dual degree programs, and participation in the QS World University Rankings.

It is worth noting that as part of the visit, Professor Shazlin Melleana binti Shaharudin is conducting a master class for the university’s teaching staff focused on the QS ranking methodology and mechanisms for enhancing the university’s international academic reputation.

The meeting became an important step in expanding international partnerships and opened new opportunities for the implementation of joint educational and research projects.
