AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, A TRAINING SEMINAR ON DUAL EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT WAS HELD

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a training seminar entitled “Methodological Approaches to the Formation of Students’ Professional Competencies in the Context of Dual Education in the Field of Business and Management” was held. The seminar was organized by the Department for the Organization of Educational and Methodological Work.

The event was attended by members of the university’s teaching staff who are interested in developing practice-oriented forms of education and implementing a dual training model for specialists that meets the requirements of the modern labor market.

The seminar participants were welcomed by Yerzhan Domalatov, Director of the Department of Academic Policy and Management of Educational Programs, who emphasized the importance of effective interaction between educational institutions and employers. According to him, close cooperation with the business community makes it possible to develop students’ professional competencies that correspond to the current needs of the economy.

During the seminar, key issues of implementing dual education were discussed, including the regulatory and legal framework for professional training and retraining in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as practical mechanisms for building partnership relations with enterprises and organizations.

The speakers of the event included Aset Adylkhan, Head of the Human Capital Development Department of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the East Kazakhstan Region, as well as senior lecturers of the Department of Economics, Management, and Finance, Lyaila Akhmetova and Alma Baiguzhinova. They presented methodological approaches to the formation of students’ professional competencies, highlighted the role of mentoring, and discussed the specifics of organizing industrial training within the dual education format.

Special attention during the seminar was paid to aligning educational programs with employers’ needs, developing practice-oriented learning, and increasing graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market.

Following the seminar, participants noted the high practical value of the information presented and expressed interest in further developing dual education at Amanzholov University. Holding such seminars contributes to strengthening cooperation between the university and the business community and to improving the quality of training for future specialists.
