SPARTAKIAD 2026: SWIMMING AS PART OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University actively promotes the values of a healthy lifestyle among students and staff. A vivid example of this is the annual Spartakiad, within the framework of which swimming competitions were held today. Each team was represented by two swimmers. The judging was entrusted to Aydyn Uskembayev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Initial Military Training.

Each participant’s swim demonstrated skill, willpower, agility, and a strong desire to win.

“I represent the Rectorate team. I really want to reach the finish line in the shortest possible time. I am grateful to the university for organizing events that help maintain a healthy lifestyle,” shared Spartakiad participant Aydyn Bazarkanov.

According to the team results, first place was won by the Higher School of Pedagogy, second place by the Higher College, and third place by the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences.

In the individual competition among men, first place went to Alexander Zuev, second to Bekzhan Abylkasymov, and third to Batyrkhan Alkhanov. Among women, Olga Kuvshinnikova took first place, Nazira Sagymgalieva second, and Tatyana Putintseva third.
